Triangles are intriguing projects to crochet, and it’s fascinating to explore all the different ways you can stack them and make them repeat — not to mention all the different designs, projects and color patterns you can create with them.

The first is a book called Triangle Treasury, The entire focus of this book is crochet triangle patterns; there are 25 different triangle motifs you can crochet, plus there are also patterns for 4 different finished projects you can make using those triangles. The book’s author is Darla Sims, and Leisure Arts is the publisher.

Crochet Kaleidoscope: Shifting Shapes and Shades Across 100 Motifs by Sandra Eng, Published by Interweave Press.

Crochet Kaleidoscope is a crochet pattern book with a focus on crochet motif patterns including triangle motifs and other types of motifs. All together, I counted 9 different triangle patterns in the book.

Awhile back, I crocheted one of the triangle patterns from this book, with a few modifications to make it a bead crochet project. I was super pleased with the pattern and the clarity of the instructions in this book.

While there are only 9 triangle motifs presented in this book, I think all of them are appealing and beautiful ones — and in this book, you also get a bunch of helpful color theory information, plus bunches of other crochet motif patterns (hexagons, squares, flowers and more). Overall, Crochet Kaleidoscope is one of the most useful crochet pattern books I own.
