This two-page scrapbooking layout includes three photos showing views of Hanauma Bay in Hawaii both above the water and below it.
Craft Supplies You’ll Need to Create a Similar Scrapbooking Layout:
- Patterned Papers: There are many patterned papers you could use to create a tropical-themed scrapbooking layout like this one. I used serene floral-themed papers from Pinkfresh Studio’s “Happy Heart” collection to make this page.
- Journaling Card(s): I used a gray journaling card by Pinkfresh Studio. If you want to use the same one, you’ll find it on the reverse side of the “Remember This Day” 12″x12″ patterned paper from “The Best Day Collection.
- Flower Dies: I used the layered flower die by Waffle Flower Crafts to create the three-dimensional flower embellishment you see on this page.
- Ink Pads: I didn’t do any stamping on this scrapbooking layout, but I did some ink blending to make the paper I used for die cutting the flower motif. I used blends of Pinkfresh Studio’s Blue Jay and Mermaid Cove dye inks along with Tim Hotz’s Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink. I also used Tim Holtz’s Stormy Sky Distress ink around the edges of my pages and some embellishments to make them stand out and give them more visual emphasis.
Thanks so much for checking out my project. I appreciate your interest!
