Road Trip Travel-Themed Pocket Page Scrapbooking Layout

This album is part of a mini album I am making to document the cross-country road trip my husband and I made in 2012 to take possession of our “new” sailboat, Viva (She wasn’t really new, being a racing sailboat from the 1970s, but she was new to us at the time). Her former owner had docked her in Colonial Beach.

In summer of 2012, Mike and I sailed Viva from Colonial Beach, Virginia all the way across the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Now I’m working on documenting the adventures in our scrapbooks.

Supplies You’ll Need for Creating a Similar Road Trip Travel-Themed Scrapbooking Layout

If you want to create a similar layout documenting your own travel adventures, you’ll need the following craft supplies to do it:

  • Travel-Themed Paper, Stickers and Embellishments: Most of the supplies I used on this page are by Simple Stories from the Let’s Go collection. A few of the stickers, including the small car-shaped stickers, are by The Happy Planner / Me & My Big Ideas. However, you have many options for travel-themed paper craft supplies, and you can use any brand of papers and stickers you like.

  • Colored Pens for Journaling: I used Sakura Gelly Roll gel pens for writing my journaling, but you can use any pens for this purpose. It’s ideal if you choose archival-quality pens for writing on scrapbooking layouts.

  • Adhesive

Thanks so much for checking out my project. I really appreciate your interest!
