Looking for flower-themed card making ideas? Here’s one you might want to try: It’s a Flower Card Idea Featuring Pinkfresh Studio Stamps and Papers.
If you’re interested in making floral greeting cards, Pinkfresh Studio is a maker of craft supplies that you’ll definitely want to have on your radar. The lovely folks at Pinkfresh Studio make it SO EASY to create cards and other paper craft projects featuring floral designs – and you can totally succeed with their products even if you are a total beginner at coloring. You DO NOT NEED an advanced degree in botanical illustration or painting to make floral-themed greeting cards that look like the one you see pictured here!
The secret to how beginners can succeed with making floral-themed greeting cards: You simply use layered stamps and stencils along with coordinated ink color palettes that take all the hard work out of coloring your flowers.
For example, I made the card you see pictured here with one of Pinkfresh Studio’s layered stamp sets that includes multiple separate layers — one for each flower in the bouquet, plus an outline stamp that pulls the entire look together, plus several options for empowering sentiment stamps that will encourage and delight the recipient of your floral greeting card. (The one I chose for this card says “I am so proud of you”, but there are different options you can choose from.) All you have to do is choose colors for your design elements, choose papers, choose a few embellishments if desired, stamp, and put it all together. Easy peasy!
And if you don’t have confidence in your own color choices, you can use Pinkfresh Studio’s coordinated dye ink color palettes to take the guesswork out of that. I didn’t happen to use their inks for this particular card, but I LOVE their ink color palettes and gladly recommend them in cases where you are not sure what colors go well together. You can’t go wrong that way.
