The Best Things About This Book

This book includes patterns for crocheting matching accessory sets, with pieces that all coordinate beautifully. Any of these sets could make a wonderful gift for a colleague, friend or loved one. While you’re at it, you’ll probably want to make a set or two for yourself, too.

These accessories are all classic pieces that will remain wearable for many years into the future. They feature timeless silhouettes and stitch patterns that are not likely to go out of style.

It’s wonderful that the men and boys aren’t neglected in this book; most of these sets are unisex designs. The one exception, in my opinion, is the shell stitch set. I think this set has a feminine look about it, because of the lacy scallops on the edges of the scarf. I think all the other accessories sets are suitable for people of both genders.

The mitten patterns included in this book are especially noteworthy. It’s reasonably easy to find outstanding crochet patterns for scarves and hats. However, it’s not so easy to find good crochet mitten patterns. I think the mitten patterns in this book are one of its top selling points. You get 4 wonderful mitten patterns, sized for men and women plus also for children ranging from ages 2-12 — plus, of course, all the other accessories that match the mittens. Folks, there’s a LOT of value packed in this short book.

The photography and styling presented in this book are simply delightful. You can almost feel the chill in the air as you observe this family camping. The fashion styling enhances these projects, and the photos show off each piece beautifully. I think most people will be able to look at these photos and easily make a decision about whether they’d want to make these projects, or not. And I think these projects have broad appeal, which means that many crocheters will be likely to want to make them.

Something to Be Aware of Before You Buy This Book

This book DOES NOT include international symbol crochet charts.

Conclusion

I’m delighted to recommend this book to other crochet enthusiasts, particularly to intermediate-level crocheters who are in need of coordinating accessory patterns. I think this book could also be a good buy for new crocheters who are willing to invest some time and effort in working up to intermediate level.
