If you’re interested in combining the two craft techniques of flower looming and crochet, you need to know about Crochet Loom Blooms by Haafner Linssen. In my opinion, this is the definitive text on the topic. This book features instructions for making 30 different flower designs and 5 finished projects including 2 different blankets, a potholder, a scarf and a stylish tote bag.

The book includes templates for making your own flower looms. If you buy the paperback edition of the book, it also comes with a small starter loom.

This is another lovely pattern book that incorporates both flower looming and crochet into the same projects. There are also some flower loom projects that do not require any crochet work to finish them.

This is a slim booklet featuring full-color photographs and line-art illustrations. The book teaches you how to make a surprising variety of projects considering how little space the book takes up on your shelf.

This book isn’t totally, 100% dedicated to giving you crochet flower patterns. You get bunches of flower patterns in the book, and the point of the book is to use the flowers (along with patterns for other, similar items like plants and other small, cute motifs — hearts, fish, a strawberry, a rainbow, etc) to decorate accessories like hats, purses and tote bags.

In my opinion, the flower patterns are the best part of this book — but your opinion might be different. In either case, I think you’re going to love the flower patterns you’ll find in this book. The photo above gives you a glimpse at one of them; there are also patterns for making a large rose, a daffodil and others.
