“Fingering weight yarn” is a phrase that describes some of the lightest weight yarns available. These yarns are given a designation of either “0” or “1” on the Craft Yarn Council’s standard yarn weight system.
Fingering weight yarn is ideal for knitting or crocheting a wide variety of projects including socks, baby projects, clothing, accessories, bedspreads, blankets, throws, doilies, mandalas, home décor projects and more.
