Beaded Heart Embellishments for Making Valentine Scrapbooks or Appliques
This little beaded crochet heart shape is one of my favorite useful Valentine craft projects. It’s really versatile! I’ve made bunches of these — some to wear and some to use as photo frames in my scrapbooks:
If you like this idea, you can grab the free pattern for crocheting your own pretty beaded hearts. There’s also a free step-by-step tutorial for learning the crochet technique you’ll use, which involves both beads and wire; it’s different from the usual bead crochet technique, so this project gives you a chance to try something new. One of the things I really LOVE about this project is that it holds its shape on its own, without you having to mess around with making glue solutions or using sticky spray starch.
