Sail With Me: A Scrapbooking Layout Created for This Month’s Hero Arts Challenge
Here’s a brand new scrapbooking layout I just created for this month’s blog challenge over at the Hero Arts website.
Our challenge for November is “Bits and Pieces” – we want you to use up scraps, unfinished projects or bits and pieces in your projects! This is the perfect opportunity to go through your UFO (UnFinished Objects) pile or your cardstock scraps to find useful things!
So I dug through my stamp stash and scrap boxes to find unused Hero Arts images that I stamped onto scraps, but never got around to using.

I ended up using an older, limited edition, vintage travel-themed stamp and die set that perfectly complements our old vintage 1938 wooden sailboat, Typhoon. My husband, Mike, and I used to live aboard Typhoon; we spent a couple of happy years cruising around the west Coast.
Pictured here, you can see Mike standing in Typhoon’s cockpit as we sailed from Point Dume, right off the Callifornia coast, out to Santa Catalina Island.
Thanks so much to the folks over at Hero Arts for the creative inspiration — and thanks also to you for checking out my challenge entry. I appreciate your interest!
