Crochet Circle Coaster Patterns
Easy Free Crochet Circle Coaster Pattern
If you want to crochet the easiest possible circle coaster, just use worsted weight yarn and a basic circle pattern; crochet as many rounds as it takes to get the right size coaster you want, then repeat to make your entire set of coasters. Click here to see the easiest free crochet circle pattern we’ve posted on our website.
I use some of the crochet motif patterns from the Crochet Kaleidoscope book as coasters. Some of our other crochet circle patterns could possibly work well for making coasters, too.
Crochet Flower Coasters
Crochet is well suited to making flower-shaped designs, and flower coasters are fun projects to work on.

Crochet Heart Coasters
Fabric Crochet Heart Coasters
These heart coasters are similar to the flower coasters pictured above. They’re thick and cushy, and crocheted using strips of fabric. I chose an interesting red batik fabric for my project sample. The design would be lovely if crocheted in other prints or colors as well.
Crochet Snowflake Coaster Patterns
If you want to crochet coasters for setting your table in wintertime, check out the following crochet snowflake coaster patterns. They’re nice for using on your Christmas table settings, at New Year’s and any time up until spring.
Beginner-Friendly Crochet Snowflake Coaster Patterns
The best resource I know of for crocheting snowflakes is a book called Crochet Snowflakes Step-by-Step. It’s such an excellent resource because it has both GORGEOUS snowflake designs plus every type of instructions you could want — photo tutorials, symbol crochet charts, lots of pictures plus written instructions. Some of the patterns in the book are suitable for beginners, and there are many easy patterns in the book. There are also some more challenging patterns too. The patterns are versatile; many of them will work well for making coasters.
So there you have it: Those are some of the best crochet coaster patterns we have available. We hope these patterns inspire you to create one or more sets of fantastic crocheted coasters for your home or a friend’s.
