Card Dimensions: 5.5” x 4.25”

How to Make the Paper Lace Band:

Cut a ¾” band out of pink cardstock using Mini Scallop Paper Edgers (Fiskars) for the upper edge and “Clouds” Paper Edgers (Fiskars) for the lower edge. Punch the lace pattern using 5/16” diamond, ¼” heart, 1/16” circle and 3/16” square hand punches (Fiskars). Ink with various colors of ink: Fired Brick Distress Ink (Ranger) plus Rouge & Olive Pastel Colorbox Fluid Chalks (Clearsnap).

How to Make the Card:

Cut your card base to size.

Score and fold it using a scoring tool for paper. Set it aside.

Roll out a thin slab of Delight Modeling Compound. Stamp large “Bella Flora” flower (Inque Boutique) in the clay. Cut around the edges of the stamped flower. Let dry overnight. Ink the entire flower with Fluid Chalk (Clearsnap) and when it is dry, rub the raised parts of the stamped design with Fired Brick Distress Ink (Ranger.) Set aside. Cut a 5.5” x 4.25” piece of turquoise cardstock and spritz with various colors of walnut ink (Tsukineko.) Attach to front of card. Cut a 5” x 3.75” piece of patterned paper (Autumn Leaves) and attach to front of card. Cut a 5.5” piece of patterned ribbon (Basic Grey) and attach to front of card. Attach paper lace band to front of card. Stamp “Happy Mother’s Day (Hero Arts) on front of card using Fired Brick Distress Ink (Ranger). Attach the clay flower to the front of card.
