The Sunflower Art Paper Collection by Features Papers and Supplies With a Tuscan Countryside Theme
Sara Alcobendas designed this lovely, appealing collection of “Sunflower Art” paper craft supplies for the European manufacturer known as Stamperia.
This paper collection prominently features images of sunflowers and other flowers, along with scenes reminiscent of Tuscany and the Italian countryside. A few images featured on the patterned papers from this collection are as follows:
- A woman gazing at an expansive landscape dominated by views of sunflowers, poppies and a placid lake as she paints “en plein aire”;
- A field of blooming sunflowers under a picture-perfect, lightly clouded blue sky;
- An artsy boutique filled with appealing art and art supplies
- Horses enjoying a grassy field dotted with poppies and other flowers; large sunflowers dominate the foreground.
- This is just a few examples of the imagery you’ll find in this collection; there are many others that also harmonize well with these themes.
List of the Supplies You’ll Find in the Sunflower Art Paper Collection by Stamperia
So far, my favorite item from this collection is the A6 silicon Frames mold. (That size translates to approximately 4.1″ x 5.8″ x 0.27″; it’s one of their smaller and more manageable mold sizes.)
The silicon frame mold also features a lovely butterfly image that is quite useful for creating 3-dimensional butterflies you can adhere to your handmade frames, junk journals, art journals, collages and other projects.
I bought this mold because I’m interested in the possibility of making my own frames for my collages, paintings and drawings — but what’s weird is that I’m finding I’m using the butterfly image more frequently than I’m using the frames. I didn’t expect that at all, but it’s how things have worked out so far.
The Sunflower Art Color Scheme: Main Colors Used in These Papers, Embellishments and Other Supplies:
This paper collection’s color palette is stunning! It incorporates shades of golden yellow, brown, brick red and green, among others.
