Pixie Spray is a game changer for stenciling.

If you’ve ever made a massive mess when putting paints, inks, Stencil Butters or other stenciling media through your stencils, you really need to try this stuff! You will be amazed at how much less of a mess you make when you understand how to use Pixie Spray.

Pixie Spray is a repositionable adhesive that allows you to tack down your stencils and keep them in place while you are stenciling. This stuff greatly increases the odds that you will come out with a clean, crisp image when you use stencils.

I think Pixie spray beats tape for holding down stencils in many situations. This is because your stenciling media is far less likely to run and get trapped under your stencil when you attach it to your page using Pixie Spray. It isn’t foolproof; the wetter your media is, the likelier it is that you could still have a problem even when using the Pixie spray. But generally speaking, you can fix that problem pretty effectively with Pixie spray.

Furthermore, with some stencils, the image is so close to the edges that there isn’t adequate space to put tape there. If you encounter a stencil like this, Pixie spray is an easy and reliable solution.

Pixie spray has other potential uses, too; any time you need a repositionable adhesive for paper and similar surfaces, this one is a fantastic choice.

When you’ve finished stenciling, you can easily clean the Pixie spray and stenciling media off your stencil using ordinary soap and water.

Pixie spray doesn’t have a strong odor and is fine for indoor use. However, it is ideal if you can protect your work space before spraying. I like to put my project in a box prior to spraying to keep my work area safe from getting sprayed.

Pixie spray is one of my newest favorite craft supplies. I love it! I’m delighted to recommend it to other crafters. I think it is on the pricey side but definitely worth the money because it has substantially cut down on the amount of paper, stenciling media and time I was wasting when I was taping my stencils to my paper.
