If you’re new to paper crafts and wondering where to buy the best stamps, dies, inks, bundles, card making kits, stencils and related paper craft supplies, Hero Arts is a company that should be on your radar.

Why?

  • Hero Arts has been in business for 50+ years!! They are trustworthy, well-known, well-respected and super popular.
  • Hero Arts manufactures many of their products in the USA, and their products are of exceptional quality.
  • Their products are super appealing! Their designs reflect a broad range of popular themes and styles.
  • Hero Arts offers a generous and more than fair return policy. I have never had to take them up on it, because I have consistently been delighted with the things I bought from them. However, it’s nice to know this is available if needed. (YES, I have ordered directly from the Hero Arts online store, although it is more typical for me to shop for their supplies at Scrapbook.com.)
  • Hero Arts’ products are widely available; they offer a convenient shopping experience through their own website, and their products are also available for sale at other art and craft retailers nationwide.
  • The team at Hero Arts does an incredible job of packaging their craft supplies in an environmentally friendly way. You can read more about their green initiatives at their About Us page if you are interested in their sustainability efforts.
  • The folks at Hero Arts provide plentiful inspiration for using their stamps, dies, inks, kits and other craft supplies. They maintain a popular blog plus social media accounts, and they have a global design team reflecting a broad range of styles, viewpoints and paper craft techniques. They make an effort to be inclusive and not exclusive, offering crafting content that’s relevant to people with different viewpoints from all over the world. They also invite their customers to participate in a monthly challenge each month, with prizes and recognition for both a random entry and an outstanding entry. Beyond that, they often have blog hops with additional prizes, too.

As you’ve probably deduced, I’m a huge fan of Hero Arts stamps, dies and craft supplies. I grew up with old school Hero Arts wood-mounted stamps in my playroom. For me, this brand evokes happy childhood memories every time I think of them or use their products.

Hero Arts is one of my all-time favorite manufacturers of paper craft supplies. They produce clear stamp sets, dies, ink pads, reinkers, wood-mounted stamps, stencils, papers, kits, bundles and a variety of miscellaneous other products.

Hero Arts Stamps and Dies

Hero Arts makes multiple types of stamps available:

  • They produce wood-mounted rubber stamps; the wood is cabinet-grade honey-white maple, and the impressions from these are crisp and perfect. As far as quality stamps go, I’m not aware of anyone, anywhere currently producing anything better than these. They are top notch!

  • They also produce clear stamp sets made from the highest quality non-toxic, biodegradable photopolymer.
  • They also produce large-scale cling mount rubber stamps, usually sized at 6″x6″ and meant to be used for stamping handmade greeting card backgrounds, although you can use them for pretty much any type of paper craft project or mixed media art project.

I own all three kinds of their stamps and am delighted with all of them.

The folks at Hero Arts have been known to collaborate with other manufacturers; I saw a stamp set that they produced in collaboration with Pinkfresh Studio. I don’t happen to own that set, although it is on my wish list.

I also have two stamp sets by The Stamping Village that include designs by Hero Arts and bunches of other manufacturers. I highly recommend the Stamping Village sets if you can find them; these days, they are getting scarcer and harder to find. They are really fantastic, versatile sets that I use often and highly recommend.

The Hero Arts Compact Cutter Die Cutting Machine

They also make a compact die cutter that I own and LOVE! I highly, highly recommend it! It is the best compact die cutter I’m currently aware of because it has a generous 3″-sized width, which is substantially larger than most of the competing die cutters in the same size and price range.

As I mentioned above, Hero Arts is manufacturing some, but not all, of their products in the United States. I try to buy products made in the USA to the greatest extent possible, so to me, this is a huge selling point; I often seek out Hero Arts stamps over competitors’ products because of this.

Often, you will find that craft supplies made in the USA are more expensive than craft supplies made oversees. However, that has not been my experience with Hero Arts’ products at all. Their products are affordably priced, and the quality is amazing; they did not compromise on quality whatsoever to arrive at their affordable prices.

Hero Arts Papers

Hero Arts offers a line of premium heavyweight 100# solid core cardstock papers. These are sold in packages of ten 8.5″ x 11″ sheets. They offer a broad range of colors. I have not personally tried these papers to comment on their quality, but knowing how high-quality their other products are, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy these papers in the future.

Hero Arts Dies

I currently own one Hero Arts die set that was bundled with a coordinating stamp set. The set is a limited edition travel-themed set that unfortunately has sold out again now. The dies cut perfectly, and they have been seriously useful to me for making all kinds of projects, but I’ve mostly been using them on scrapbooking layouts and scrapbooking album pages.

Hero Arts Ink Pads and Reinkers

Hero Arts offers a complete line of ink pads and reinkers. I do not happen to own any of their inks currently, although I used to have some in my stash in the past. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again in the future, and many of their colors are on my wish list.

Hero Arts Stencils

Hero Arts makes appealing stencils that complement their other product offerings. I do not currently own any of these but have several of them on my wish list.

Hero Arts Hot Foil Plates and Supplies

If you’re into hot foiling, definitely check out the offerings at Hero Arts for related supplies you might enjoy trying. I am not currently doing anything with hot foil, so I have no further insights to share about them right now.

Project Ideas for Using Hero Arts’ Stamps, Dies, Glitter Papers, Die Cutter and Other Craft Supplies

So there you have it: That’s my roundup of recommended craft supplies from Pinkfresh Studio Crafts — plus some ideas for using their lovely craft supplies. Truth be told, I would not hesitate to purchase any supplies from this company; I have utmost confidence in their offerings. But the products I mentioned above are the ones I own, use, and can vouch for from firsthand, actual, hands-on experience.

Thanks so much for visiting! I appreciate your presence here.
