These sentiments are ideal to use for creating all-occasion cards you can send to anyone for any reason. I really love them, and they get a massive amount of use in my paper craft projects.
Types of Paper Craft Projects You Can Make Using the Fancy Flowers MINI by Gina K Designs
In my opinion, Gina K Designs ‘s Fancy Flowers MINI works especially well for card making . However, you could use it for working on any type of paper craft projects, including the following:
- Wedding or anniversary gift tags;
- Calendar crafts, planners, and bullet journals;
- Scrapbooks, travel journals, art journals and junk journals;

- And more!
I’ve been paper crafting for a long time, and I’ve accumulated a bunch of different stamp sets. At this point, I have a broad variety of different images. Most of my stamping needs are well covered, so at this point in my crafting journey, I am highly selective about the stamps I add to my collection.
This set was a must-have for me, first of all, because the angle of the flower images is absolutely ideal for using in a broad variety of craft projects.
Furthermore, I have a strong preference for stamped images that do not require coloring.
Please don’t get me wrong; I really enjoy coloring.
But, at this point in my life, I have too many other obligations to prioritize spending time on coloring stamped images. This is really a bummer, but it is what it is.
So when I’m shopping for stamps, I specifically look for images that can just be stamped, without the need for coloring.
So if you’d prefer not to invest time in coloring, or money buying zillions of markers (or paints, or colored pencils), this is definitely a stamp set you’d want to seriously consider owning – because many of the other competing stamp sets require a massive investment of time to use well. In contrast, these do not require much time to use; you just stamp them, and that’s it.
Of course, you can color in the petals on that larger floral if you want to, and sometimes I do that. But usually, I stamp it onto colored paper, eliminating the need to color it.
I bought this stamp set the moment I saw it, and paid full price for it; I wasn’t willing to wait for a sale and risk having it go out of stock.
I bought this stamp set to replace my all-time most used floral stamp set, which was long ago discontinued. That set also featured floral images shown at the same angles, and it had flower stamps that were approximately the same sizes.
I’d used that older stamp set in literally hundreds of projects, a couple of which were published in craft magazines.
So I was super excited to find this newer, more up-to-date replacement stamp set!
I haven’t been disappointed with the purchase. These stamps totally lived up to my expectations. When I use high-quality inks to do my stamping, I’ve found that the resulting images have consistently been crisp and lovely.

Downsides to the Fancy Flowers MINI Stamp Set by Gina K Designs
I don’t actually think there are many cons to this stamp set; for me, the set has been mostly positive. But, a single stamp set cannot be all things to all people — and this one certainly is not.
If you’re looking for floral images that you can color, this set is not what you want.
And, furthermore, if you’re looking for highly detailed floral images, this set is probably not what you want. This set’s aesthetics are clean and simple, without a massive amount of detail. There is just enough detail to make the images look appealing, without getting into anything too froo-froo.
This is perfect for my needs, but your mileage may vary.
There is only one thing that I have occasionally found frustrating about this stamp set: That is, the flower petals and flower centers are the same color.
This drives me bonkers, because the colors of a flower’s center should strongly contrast with the colors of its petals.
And with the petals and flower centers being part of the same stamp, this will not happen unless you take extra steps to make it happen.
So to fix this issue, I frequently make the effort to create separate flower centers for these flower images.
Sometimes I use contrasting Glitter Drops by Pinkfresh Studio to accomplish this.
Sometimes I draw a contrasting flower center onto the flowers using a bright-colored marker.
Sometimes I stick a contrasting die cut on top of the flower. The flower centers from Waffle Flowers flower die is a good one to use for this purpose.
It would also be possible to stitch buttons or other small round objects onto your flower centers.
So, the single-color flower stamps aren’t a deal breaker for me; I see this situation as being a fun and creative challenge that I enjoy solving. I hope it wouldn’t be a deal breaker for you, either.
The Verdict: I Highly Recommend the Fancy Flowers MINI to Other Crafters!
Overall, I have found all the stamps in this set to be really helpful for a variety of uses, particularly for card making . I highly recommend this set to other crafters who want to make handmade floral cards, or any paper craft projects requiring floral images and all-occasion sentiments.

Other Craft Supplies You Might Need for Stamping With Gina K’s Fancy Flowers Stamp Set
To use this stamp set as intended, you might need some additional craft supplies beyond just the stamps themselves. The following supplies are all sold separately from the stamp set.
Fancy Flowers Mini Die Set by Gina K Designs
You might want to get the coordinating Fancy Flowers die set, which makes it possible to easily cut out your stamped images. The die set is nice to have if you think you’ll want to collage with your stamped images or place them on top of a patterned background. Otherwise, the coordinating dies are not essential.
I don’t have the coordinating die set for these stamps. I would love to have them, but so far, they haven’t been an essential purchase for me.
You might be able to tell from looking at the project photos above that I like cutting these flower images out using scalloped scissors. So that is one possible idea for you, if you decide you don’t want to invest in these dies.
All that said, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the coordinating dies for this stamp set. Gina K claims that the thing differentiating her dies from others is that she is very careful to ensure that the dies cut very close to the stamped image, without a lot of extra waste around the edges. This sounds fantastic, so I am looking forward to trying her dies and using them in my projects.
Ink for Stamping the Fancy Flowers Mini Stamps
You’ll need one or more ink pads to use for inking up the image to stamp. I recommend using at least two different colors of ink – ideally a green color for the leaves and a different color for the flowers. You might (or might not) also want a different color for stamping the sentiments.

Paper
You’ll also need a surface like paper to stamp on. If you aren’t sure which paper to use, check out Neenah’s 110-lb cover stock in the Solar White color as one possibility to consider.
