Altenew Supplies I Used to Make This Greeting Card:
- Patterned papers from the Celebrate collection, which was a collaboration between Altenew and Pinkfresh Studio
- I used stamps from a couple of different collections to make this card. The floral stamp set is called “Simple Flowers Add On”, and the sentiment stamp — “We Appreciate You” — is Altenew’s contribution to the “Thinking of You” stamp set by Stamping Village.
I decided this card using this particular color combination of pink, yellow and green because Altenew is having an inspiration challenge hosted by Reiko.
She posted a GORGEOUS floral photo featuring a vibrant pink, yellow and green color combination, which is the inspiration for the challenge. This happens to be one of my all-time favorite color combinations, so I am super excited to play along with the challenge.
This actually did turn out to be more of a challenge than expected. It would be easy enough to use those particular colors in a project, but in this case, I also had to limit myself to using mostly supplies by Altenew. I do have plenty of Altenew’s paper craft supplies, but most of them are not the right colors for this. So this challenge took me out of my comfort zone, in a good way.
