I use a broad variety of paper to make my collage art and mixed media art projects. Strathmore Bristol Board is my top favorite. Gesso and Primer
Gesso and Primer for Painting and Mixed Media Art
You can use gesso or primer for priming either paper or canvas before you start painting, stenciling or doing other mixed media art techniques on its surface. Check out my top picks for gesso and primer HERE.
Canvas
I used to do a lot of painting on canvas, but I haven’t done much of that lately. I don’t currently have a recommendation for canvas suppliers.
